Contract: 6 years, $330 million (2025-2030) Extension

Houston Texans (2016)

Worst Signing:
Brock Osweiler (QB) (4 years, $72 million)

OIP.webp

Results:

  • When Peyton Manning went down in 2015 due to injury, Brock Osweiler stepped up and led the team to a 5–2 record as a starter

  • Although Manning returned and led the team to a Super Bowl, Brock Osweiler’s flashes as a starting quarterback drew the attention of many teams in free agency

  • He returned to Denver in 2017 as a backup and played his final season in the league with Miami in 2018
